Carl,
I agree with you, but I think that a lot of women feel that this is a change,
or the beginning of one. They feel that the truth is being told and men are
being held to account for what they have previously gotten away with. But what
is happening is that a group of men are being fired to satisfy the public's
lust for revenge, but male power and sexual privilege will continue and our
elites will continue to plunder the world to benefit themselves.

Miriam and All who dream of a better world, There is nothing so wicked as
predators using their positions in life, to force themselves onto those weaker
than they, both in physical as well as positional strength. But of course this
is part of the ugly side of human nature. And most of the time we prefer to
ignore it, since we can't seem to change it. My concern, besides the fact that
there are women who will jump on the band wagon for personal benefit, is that
we are allowing our attention to be diverted from the Bigger Evil, the Rape of
an entire Nation. While we all dash this way and that, pointing fingers at
actions of men that took place 20 or 30 years ago, or more, and while we can
hardly wait for the daily exposee, and downfall of one more powerful man, the
Trumpsters have free reign to plunder at will.
If it were going to come together and bring about change, that would be one
thing. But it is simply distracting entertainment, no different than the
"Biggest Clown" in town...Donald Trump. While Donald Trump cavorts before the
world, his minions are plundering to a fair thee well, and just to keep us
entertained, we toss in sexual abuse. Sexual abuse is always a dis tractor.
Remember how exposing the naughty priests changed the entire Catholic Church?
No? Well that is how much the current attack on prominent political leaders
and actors and producers and Wall Street Macho Men will end up. Like the old
shell game, distraction is the name of the game. And boy, are we being
distracted.
Like I said, if this were truly the beginning of a serious change in our
Eternal nature, then it would be worth all the willy nilly finger pointing.
But it isn't.

There's something else about this that bothers me. Well, 2 things. The
first thing was pointed out by a writer for Jacobin Magazine. We're
hearing a lot about how powerful men abused actresses and other women
who are, or were, in the spotlight. But everyday, powerless men demean
and abuse powerless women in the workplace and at home and no one
cares. Most of the violence that takes place in our country is
domestic violence. Cops abuse the women they arrest; jailers abuse
women in their custody. The other thing that bothers me is that
suddenly, we're hearing all these stories? It reminds me of twenty or
thirty years ago when we suddenly began hearing stories about how
people having been sexually abused as children, at home, in school, in
nursery school. Everyone had hidden memories and all of a sudden,
everyone's hidden memories were appearing. Now, all this hidden sexual abuse
is appearing. It's like mass hysteria.

The shameless baldfaced liars parading as our nation's leaders, will
throw their own daughters to the wolves in their efforts to sell us on
their Make Believe Story that they are outraged by the groping of some
men. Especially if they can shift the attention onto Liberals and
Democrats. This will be achieved, since they own the networks and
major news outlets. Imagine having to trot out the antics of a
comedian back some 20 years ago. I have gone on line to various
comedy networks and listened to "humor" that would melt the wax in most folks
ears. Lots of put down humor involving women.
Our culture is riddled with male dominance. But we are led to believe
that it's only been the last 20 or 30 years that such behavior has
come into vogue. Once again, we go into denial and pretend we're
seeing great changes.
Wait 12 months and let's check in again.

Here's the thing, Bob. You are the product of your upbringing, your
parent's culture, your environment, all of which go into creating
your present beliefs. I appreciate that your English has increased
to the place where you can express these beliefs of yours. I hope
that you do not feel offended when I tell you that they are not mine.
I was raised in a very different culture, even different than
today's America. 82 years ago we did hold very different thinking
on such subjects as women's rights, gay and lesbian relations,
interracial relationships, and so forth. In fact it is almost a
different world in which I find myself.
I was raised to believe that young men were expected to force their
affections upon young women. The men in my life, the fathers and
older brothers of my school friends, were outraged over the idea of
two men having a sexual relationship. Lesbians were harassed and
roughed up. Men would say, "All they need is a good screwing to
make them normal women". I was born only 70 years after the
American Civil War. Black citizens were still called Niggers and
worse. They were treated as inferior creatures, unable to think on their
own.
When I was six years old our president had all Japanese Americans on
the West Coast incarcerated. As a White Superior Race, our ruling
class looked down on all persons of color.
Today we are in transition. What we do not need is to return to
some rigid rules handed down by our government. That is Donald
Trump's intention when he tells us he will return America to our
former greatness. If you feel most comfortable being told what is
right and what is forbidden, good for you. But your ways are not
mine, nor will they ever be. So you and I and others, need to learn
to respect our differences and live as equals despite them.

Sexual harassment is the act of subjecting someone to unwanted or
improper sexual advances, typically, women or children.
Alternatively, it is the persistence of enacting unconventional
sexual behaviour, often but not necessarily, by a supervisor toward
an employee. Recently, allegations of sexual misconduct heightened
significantly. Thence, we are ethically obliged
to enforce social regulations between the two genders to prevent
potential inappropriate engagement. At its inception, both men and
women are enjoined
to hold fast to boundaries of estimable appearance. Neither gender
shouldn't attempt to be beguiling to his counterpart. In other
words, both
ought to base their communication on reciprocal precepts of merits.
Men shouldn't court women unsuitably nor women shouldn't use their
sex appeal to
exploit men unsoundly. In any manner, communication between men and
women should be based on mutual deference. It couldn't be
unilateral, both must equally share their accountability. Some may
consider these moral tips a bit
strict or perhaps, socially conservative. Islam seeks to firmly
establish a
cleansed society. In order to prosper in attaining this aim, both
genders must thoroughly stick to their role. Men shouldn't stare at
women inappropriately nor women shouldn't purposely entice them
with wearing provocative outfits or behaving seductively. Monica
Lewinsky enamoured former president Bill Clinton. She tactically
exerted her sultry characteristics to utterly captivate his full
attention. Certainly, this is
a demonic act. Allah blessed us with these beautiful desires to
sufficiently
delight and satisfy our licit partners. Spouses are enjoined to
gratify one
another with mental, emotional and intimate involvements. I
strongly fond licit intimacies between married couples. At the end
of the day, we are humans and we are naturally made to
intemperately be influenced with these aspects. The point just is,
when, where, with whom and how. Life is much better and brighter
with adhering proper demeanours. I urge irreligious individuals to
refrain from commenting obscenely. I tend not to speak
obsequiously toward foreigners. Despite the detrimental rhetoric
many people
portray my heritage with, I won't change my tune. I am enormously
felicitous
with my way of life. Most of you misapprehend it, but I do not give
credit to unjustified prejudice and nescience. Vicious aspersion of
my Islamic tradition is inconsiderate and perfectly superfluous to
me.
Thank you, Bob
