No doubt about it. We are all very complex Beings. Trying to go too
deeply into another person's composition can never do them justice.
If Barack Obama's goal was to become president, and if he made the
choices he believed would gain him that goal, then he is a huge
success. Despite being Black enough for it to go against him, he
moved through the political world like a sharp knife slicing cheese.
But when he kicked his minister to the curb, I knew that this man was
never going to stand tall for the Working Class. Barack Obama never
proved me wrong.
Still, it was a less volatile 8 years than we seem to be facing
now...unless you happen to be one of those persons wiped out or maimed
from the eternally watchful eyes of our drones.
All in all it has been a very hard year for me. But still, I remain
an optimist, a bit crumpled and some tattered, but still able to see
good in the workers of the world.

most likely Senator Kamala Harris will never see my note. Nor will anyone
of any stature in the Democratic National Committee(DNC).
Senator Harris might comment, if the note were sent along to her, and if she
had enough time to read it. But chances are that some mail sorter will take
a quick look, and if interested, maybe send a brief note back, chastising me
for abandoning the Party...over looking the fact that the Democratic Party
turned its back on the American Working Class in order to embrace the wealth
being offered to them.
While I will continue voting for some Democrats, Senators Murray and
Cantwell are good examples, I do so with the understanding that they are up
to their ears in the same contaminated waters as are all elected
politicians, and they can be turned away from important legislation when it
does not conform with the will of their largest financial supporters.
As for King, Robeson and Hedges never being in a position to be elected to
the presidency, or to any public office, that is a strong endorsement for
them. Look at how watered down Barack Obama became when the big donors
dropped wads of money into his eager hands. No, King, Robeson and Hedges
have been far greater influences outside the political circus. While Obama
and Trump and all elected officials have to answer to their "Handlers",
King, Robeson and Hedges
answer(ed) only to themselves.

While I support much of your work and many of your positions, I am
saddened to learn that you are not fiercely supportive of the return
of stolen land by Israel back to Palestine, and an end to the
encroachment onto lands already owned by Palestinians. I have watched
our Government dance around the room with Israel while treating the
Arab Population in Israel as if they were the ugly sisters. It's past
time for us Americans to demand that any nation we do business with
must respect all its people as equal. And it's far past time that we
Americans, especially White Americans, take a stand and do no business
with those corporations that do not treat all Americans with respect.
Far too long we have been playing games with our laws, protecting the
White Oligarchy and forcing our citizens of Color to live in Third
World Conditions.
Please tell me what you are doing toward that end.
And tell me what the Democratic Party is doing to once again represent
the American Working Class. I have stopped calling myself a Democrat
after the disgraceful behavior of the Party that once stood for
working class citizens. Even at its best, this Party of the People
