My feeling is that people have a right to whatever beliefs they may have
regarding religion. However, they do not have a right to impose those
beliefs on other people. We've had discussions regarding religious belief on
this list and certainly, that's what this list is for, - the exchange of
thoughts and discussion of differences. However, I don't see the value in
demanding that people give rational reasons for something that has nothing
to do with rationality. I also have difficulty with people using this list
as a means to instruct us on what they believe that we ought to believe or
what we ought to think. I don't like being instructed in religious beliefs
or in political theory. Discussion, yes. Lectures, no.
