Yes, just think about how this court will rule on Medicare For All, legislation
regarding immigrants, or disability rights, for that matter. Today I'm
listening to podcast discussions of what the Democrats could have done and
didn't, and of what should be done next. Also, last night, I noticed that
there'd been an on line support rally for Julian Assenge going on all day which
I hadn't known about. By the time I found out, it was about 9:15 and they were
just showing videos with no talking. But I did hear the end of a statement that
Assenge made in which he said that the contemporary media is worthless because
all it does is to prepare people for war. And sure enough, this morning, when I
turned on NPR, they were talking about how China was attempting to steal
American technology and become the dominant force in the world and how we need
to fight back.

This Kavanaugh farce goes to your original caution to me that we would be
better off under Clinton, than under Trump. While Trump and his Band of
Bandits are raiding our treasury, conditions are being set in place to continue
the plundering for many years to come. Electing Democrats will not solve this
crisis, but if Clinton had taken office, at least we could have held our
position while working to turn our government around. That at least would have
extended some hope to the now hopeless.

She didn't vote yes. She withheld her vote as a polite gesture to a
Republican colleague who had to miss the vote in order to attend his
daughter's wedding. And, of course, one Democrat voted Yes,. Roger can
perhaps tell us if Joe Mansion would really lose an election in West
Virginia if he ever voted with the Democrats.
