People on the podcasts to which I listen, are very critical of Rachel Madow for
that reason. She and a whole bunch of corporate Democrats and their supporters,
all of the Clinton followers, have been pushing this narrative. The independent
investigative journalists on the left, write and say very different things from
the Democratic Party leadership and the media who follow their lead. Money and
influence are important.
You know, I listen to Democracy Now every weekday and I've learned a lot. But
I've also seen that there are certain subjects that Amy either barely deals
with, or she tends to give a one sided and questionable coverage. She is
absolutely inaccurate in her coverage of Syria. Aside from the few times that
she had Patrick Cockburn on to talk about Syria about 4 years ago, she has
given a voice to the US supported rebels, like The White Helmets, who turn out
to be AlQaeda. She covered Israel's attacks on Gaza, but she never deals with
Israel's occupation of the West Bank or its treatment of Israeli citizens of
Palestinian descent or its treatment of Israeli Jewish citizens who are black.
If you look at The Nation magazine, which has a lot of good material in it, and
it also has a podcast which is not as good, you see that its writers seem to be
split, just like the Democratic Party. Stephen F. Cohen, who is a Russia expert
and the husband of the editor, has been telling the truth about Russia ever
since the US arranged the coup in Ukraine and blamed the Russians for
everything that happened there. He's still telling the truth. But a whole bunch
of Clinton loyalists are writing articles filled with unfounded innuendoes.

Well, this really stinks in a way because Trump will be able to cry fake news
and this time, it won't be a complete lie.
Then again, what else should we expect from the Wall Stream media?
By the way, I am a regular listener to the Rachel Madow show and she is also
guilty of over-emphasizing anything that has to do with Trump and Russia. IT's
way past time that all media sources pay less attention to the Russia noise and
more attention to what Trump and the evil, greedy bastards in his cabinet are
doing to fatten their pockets at the expense of the rest of us.
