My initial thought was that I was listening to the Black counterpart
to Thom Hartman. Even though I can no longer support the Democratic
Party, I do appreciate listening to the views of some of the more Left
leaning Party members.
But I'll take a listen to some other speeches before defending my
first impression.

This morning, Saturday, I tuned into one of my favorite programs,
Alternative Radio, and was treated to a speech by a man I've never heard
speak before.
Michael Eric Dyson. Articulate, dynamic, compelling and insightful.
Just a few words to describe this man. He spoke at Town Hall in Seattle,
but I do not have a date. I suspect if we google him or go to YouTube we
can find that and other talks.
Here's a bit of background on Professor Dyson.

Michael Eric Dyson (born October 23, 1958) is an African-American academic,
author, and radio host. He is a professor of Sociology at Georgetown
University.

Dyson has authored or edited 18 books dealing with subjects such as Malcolm
