He's recently written a book which I first read on Bookshare, and which then, I
think, appeared on BARD. He's somewhat to the right of Eddie, what's-his-name.
A few years ago, he was on Democracy Now, debating Glenn Ford. Dyson was
defending Obama against Ford's allegations that Obama was a sellout. But
Dyson's book is actdually a very good analysis of the Obama presidency.

Subject: [blind-democracy] Michael Eric Dyson
This morning, Saturday, I tuned into one of my favorite programs, Alternative
Radio, and was treated to a speech by a man I've never heard speak before.
Michael Eric Dyson. Articulate, dynamic, compelling and insightful.
Just a few words to describe this man. He spoke at Town Hall in Seattle, but I
do not have a date. I suspect if we google him or go to YouTube we can find
that and other talks.
Here's a bit of background on Professor Dyson.
