Agreed here on all counts.
What I would have liked is an incentive to work plan that does not cut off
benefits until and unless the individual has been working at a decent wage
for at least 6 months or a year. Then again, there are jobs that don't
provide a decent wage. Also, such a plan should keep Medicaid intact unless
the individual opts for an alternative plan. I was thinking of an incentive
plan with lots of carrots and very few stikcs. But, of course, such a plan
would not be in the master's interest.
