Miriam, you hit the nail square on it's prejudiced little head.
Hilary was much better liked when she was the First Lady. But I doubt
her beliefs had been more likable. Still, as much as I do not like
either Joe or Hilary, if I had to pick one or the other to chat with
over dinner(their expense)I'd pick Hilary.

black and brown people, folks do not have as negative response to Joe as
they do to Hillary. He projects this benign paternalistic image while she
is
seen as unpleasant and overly assertive. Why is that? Why do people think
he's electdable? Solely because he's a man. A woman with the same political
negatives is disliked more than a man.
