Sorry if I'm repeating myself, but I'm receiving a message that my
response to Mostafa is not going through.

Just for the record Mostafa, I am not an Evolutionist any more than I
am a Creationist. What I am is an Observer of Life, an Agnostic...one
who is tied to no particular belief.
My reasons are simple, we, like all Life on Earth, exist for such a
brief time, and are so interwoven in this existence that we have
neither the wisdom nor the broad overview needed to begin to make
sense out of it all.
Religion is as good a theory as Evolution, but nonetheless, it is just
another unprovable theory.
Perhaps the Big Bang Theory has some value since it does not deny the
possibility of any other theory. But so what. What if all Matter
began with a huge explosion and we are merely part of the aftermath?
What if a strange creature set off some sort of fire cracker, and the
explosion sent sparks in all directions. And we are living our
existence out as near invisible shadows on little specks of fire,
which will end when the last spark of fire burns out and we return to
nothing?
What if every Fourth of July's fireworks created millions of fires
from hundreds of explosions? We could be part of vast universes, but
all would be gone by the morning in some super existence.
What if we are nothing more that a bad dream by some madman chained in
his prison cell?
And what if a White Rabbit dressed in a top hat and a suit jacket,
passes us and we follow him down a rabbit hole into Wonderland?
All God is, is one more theory, passed down over thousands of years
and through the process of evolution, has taken on a detailed form
that makes God far more compelling than that White Rabbit.
Life is such an interesting experience that I will never tire of it,
if I live to be 120.
