This is completely outrageous: The Department of Health and Human
Services has finalized their rule that allows health care workers to
put their beliefs ahead of people’s health — that means your health
could come second. If it takes effect, women, LGBTQ people, and other
patients will suffer.
Whether it’s the Title X gag rule or giving health care workers a
license to discriminate, the intent behind these rules are clear: they
don’t want you to have the health care you need. That’s completely
unacceptable in 2019 – and that’s why we must fight so that EVERY
person can access the care they need to live full, independent lives.
