Hi Penny and all,

I got this from Francie and think it might well be something of interest for
folks to do.

Subject: WebAIM survey on screen readers

In case you know of someone who'd like to put in their two cents on screen
readers -- the intro text is below, followed by the link:

The following survey is a follow-up to previous WebAIM Screen Reader User
Surveys conducted <http://webaim.org/projects/screenreadersurvey/> December
2008, <http://webaim.org/projects/screenreadersurvey2/> September 2009,
<http://webaim.org/projects/screenreadersurvey3/> December 2010,
<http://webaim.org/projects/screenreadersurvey4/> May 2012, and
<http://webaim.org/projects/screenreadersurvey5/> January 2014. This survey
is primarily intended to collect new information and track updates/trends
from previous surveys. By completing this survey you will help inform
development choices for those creating accessible web content and web
standards. All screen reader users, even those who use screen readers only
for evaluation and testing, are invited to participate.

The survey will remain open through July 24, 2015. No personally identifying
information is collected. When submitted, your browser version, and
operating system will be collected. Results will be reported as aggregated
summaries and will be published in late July 2015. Your participation is
purely voluntary and you can choose to stop at any time. There are 24 brief
questions that will take approximately 10 minutes.
