Trump touted himself as poor. Unfortunately I can't remember on exactly
which broadcast he did it, but I clearly remember his saying that he
started out with nothing, a mere million dollars.

Good Thursday Morning Roger and Bob(Hatchey, not Evans),
Over the time I've been participating on the list, I've found that
those of us who are opposed to Capitalism and its phony "Free Market"
malarkey understand the absolute need for all factions of the Working
Class to organize. Labor Unions, Guilds, Associations, Town Meetings,
and so many more. Back in the Day, when thousands of men and women
tucked their lunch bucket under their arms and trudged off to the
sprawling factories to spend their daylight hours in the bowels of
mammoth caves, bending over production lines, Labor Unions grew
because thousands of workers could look around them and realize that
they were just one in a Sea of sufferers. Even so, keeping themselves
organized was a struggle. Company Bosses also understood the threat
of Labor Unions to their dreams of limitless riches. They gathered
together in Unions of their own. Not called Unions, but every bit the
same. The Bosses understood the power of collectivism, even though
one of their propaganda pieces was the constant attack on "socialism,
communism and collective bargaining. The Bosses paid undercover
stoolies to infiltrate Labor Unions, discrediting them with stories of
Mafia and Communist takeovers. Over the years the Bosses Union
learned the skill of turning one Labor Union against others, until
they were able to destroy the most powerful private unions, and begin
attacking national unions such as the Teachers and the Postal Workers.
The Bosses, through their Mass Media, which exists as part of their
huge and powerful Bosses Union, billed themselves as being individuals
being unfairly attacked by "Big Labor". The very opposite had become
the real truth. Labor, which never did organize more than about a
third of the Labor Market, was beaten down to single digit numbers.
But to hear the Media, these evil Unions are still controlling the
ability of honest, hard working Americans from moving up the ladder of
success.
Donald Trump is the Poster Boy for how this "rags to riches", Rugged
Individual model works. George Bush II is another example. It's hard
to find a single Billionaire who was not born in a shack and ate worms
until the age of five.
So the long and the short of it is that we, the Working Class, is
being Hoodwinked. Maybe some of you all don't care, but I hate being
regarded as a Buffoon. Even if it is only the opinion of the Bosses
Union.
