I have the transcripts somewhere where I put John Wodatch on the stand
so-to-speak, back in the day.
I noted that the ADA Coordinater for the City of Burton, Michigan, the city
next to me, was still listed as the ADA coordinator on the city web site 18
months after he pled guilty and was in jail for bribery by the U.S.
Attorney's ofoffice.
In fact I posted this stuff to the blind democracy list serve at the time.
You can't make this shit up.
Charles Abby was listed as the Burton ADA coordinator 18 months after he was
convicted aand after the DOJ was crowing about its project civic access
settlements with the likes of Burton.
Oh, my and the DOJ has only gotten worse since then which was about ten
years back.
In addition I've known Sally Conway, deputy director of the disabilities
rights section since the ADA was enacted in 1990.
She lived in New Hampshire and worked at the CIL before her move to DC in
1992. What happens to these bureaucrats when they hit DC?
Is there something in the water or what?
Do they get so distant from their roots and daily lives of PWD that they
forget? Or do they care more about their jobs than we the people?
I don't know the answers. But the "inside the beltway" crap is killing PWD.
