I've read, and agreed with Krugman in the past. This was the first time
I've heard him in person...reminding me of why I avoid live interviews...and
he really pointed up one thing. His verbal shuffling around the word
socialism and his failure to stand up for full Medicare for all, in any
meaningful form, speaks loud and clear, the position so many "liberal
democrats" are holding. It's the wishy washy position that is losing for
the Progressives.

It wasn't clear to me until he talked more about medical coverage. He
moved from a single payer health system, to advocating for anything,

frightened by losing their private medical insurance. It was a very
sneaky, dishonest presentation because he began by saying one thing
and then subtly switched positions in the middle of the discussion.
