Right now, I'm reading The Black Presidency by Michael Eric Dyson. He kind
of verifies what I've thought all along, that the implications of Obama
being president are very complex. One thing, regardless of all of the things
he's done of which we disapprove, having a black man as president is
symbolic and means a great deal internationally as well as to black people
in the US. African Americans are loathe to criticize him. 96% voted for him
in 2008. 93% voted for him in 2012. But is the situation of women in the US
comparable to that of black people? I don't think so.

HI
They should really think about our fearless leader. We thought he would
be good because, at least in part, that he was Black. After the election,
we found out so very different. Hilary comes out with the neocon stuff and
they will vote for her just because she is a woman.
