Bob and All,
Revolutions are what they are. Some people are driven out of power,
while others move in, while others just sit by and are never included.
Remember reading about The American Revolution? Same thing. Kick
those oppressive Redcoats out and bring in the Home Boys. But we
don't read much about all those who were kept on the sidelines. The
Landless, the Negros, the Women, and the Indigenous People.
And to this day, by not including them, we've sewn the seeds of our
own downfall.

Interesting post here. It looks like despite all of the hoopla to the
contrary, Cuba has some of the same racial issues we have here. So sad that
they didn't take full advantage of the situation in 1959.
In so many cases, the early days of a revolution are filled with hopes that
never seem to quite come to pass. Very sad.
