Miriam, not unfounded at all. We have had pro-police statements before. I have
heard folks talking in support of the misscariiages of justice. This was
especially true after the Eric Gardner episode. There was open condemnation of
the protesters. If you read the blind-chat or blind-ex listservs around then
you would know exactally what I am talking about. And, I won't even get started
about the comments made after Ferguerson incident. More than one person was
chanting about the kid getting what he deserved and other bullshit like that.
If you only read the comments of the two dozen or so regular posters on
blind-democracy you can easily be lulled into thinking that what I observed is
nonsense but you need to look at a broader picture.
