People should never confuse my criticism of Hillary Clinton and the
Democratic Party with a suggestion that Trump is an alternative. Both
alternatives are very damaging to us.  There is no good choice here.

I wanted to clarify for Alice that Neoliberalism has nothing to do with
liberalism as it has
been defined in the past. It is close to neoconservatism in how it
manifests itself. A bit from WikiPedia follows.
Neoliberalism (or sometimes neo-liberalism) refers primarily to the 20th
century resurgence of 19th century ideas associated with laissez-faire
economic liberalism. :7.
In the study of international relations, neoliberalism refers to a school of
thought which believes that states are, or at least should be, concerned
first and foremost with absolute gains rather than relative gains to other
states. Neoliberalism is not the same as neoliberal economic ideology,
although both theories use common methodologies, which include game theory.

Hi Miriam,
I mostly agree with you here. Clinton will likely be slightly more hawkish
than the Prince of Peace. Ordinarily, I'd say there would be very little
difference if we elected most Republicans. But with Trump, we don't know
what the heck we'll get only that it won't be good.
