Two fatal crashes in such a short time frame is unacceptable regardless of who
is on the receiving end of the pointing finger of blame. For myself, it means
two more reasons I avoid boarding an airplane. We have become so advanced that
we can no longer depend upon the human mind. Which reminds me of the old
story. The pilots voice came over the P A system to the passengers awaiting
takeoff.

Read the quote clearly it is speaking about Boeing but then goes on to
say that the "airline" didn't inform the crews about the new planes. I
think even the editor of a junior high newsletter would pick up on the
obvious disconnect there and that disconnect is that Boeing is not an
airline, it is an aircraft manufactuer. It is the airlines that train
(or not in this case) train the flight crews. Me thinks that whole
quote was from a profit motivated trash talking media outlet with some
financial motivation for protecting the airline industry.

From Loud and Clear Deadly assumptions of Boeing - they knew that
there were deadly flaws in the plane's design and they knew it would
take the pilots time to adjust when things went wrong. But they didn't
tell the pilots about the problems or train them to handle them
because they weren't telling anyone about the problems. The airline
predicted that if the flaws weren't fixed, there'd be one to two
crashes every one to two years. It's all in the internal documents.
Boeing is planning to bring the 737 Max back on line. No one is going
to jail, even though the company knew there were flaws in the design,
that there would be periodic crashes, that people would die. The C E O
is resigning, but he's being replaced by the President of the board
who is equally culpable for what happened. There have been two crashes so
far, which killed 300 people.
