I think that Bernie believes what he says about issues. I think his concern
about Standing Rock is real. And it's possible that if he teams up with
other progressive senators, and if Feingold wins the election, and if
there's a Democratic majority in the Senate, something positive might
actually be accomplished. But right now, aside from raising money for some
progressive down ballot candiddates, (and that is a good thing not to be
ignored), Sanders' pronouncements, his positive words, don't have a true
impact on reality. They had meaning when he was a candidate, but the minute
he stopped fighting for the candidacy, they became meaningless.

Let's not be so quick to call bull puckey on Sanders here. When Clinton
makes or attempts to make a bad decision that contradicts the progressive
party platform, how will Sanders react. If he reactes with the passion he
showed us during the campaign, I'll conclude that he's doing the best he can
given that both parties are wholly owned by the corporate puppet masters. If
he doesn't react strongly enough, I'll be right with you Carl in calling
bull pucky on Sanders.
Also, after the election, I sure hope he reacts strongly to the emails from
Democratic leadership saying that they wanted to rig the primaries in favor
of queen Hilary. IF he fails to do so, then Carl is problaby correct.
By the way, given all of the email mess, Madam president will likely be
vexed by many hearings by the house including impeachment hearings. I wonder
if impeachment hearings will be scheduled before my birdhtay, march 12? One
thing we do know. November 9, 2016 will be an important day in American
history and I don't expect it to be a positive one.
