Have you considered getting an audio thermostat? There are several
brands. I didn't think I wanted an audio-accessible thermostat (since
I relied on saying, "Well, I can't read the thermostat..." whenever I
turned the heat up or the AC down to a place where my husband didn't
like it ...). But, it turns out I love know what the ambient
temperature is and controlling the temperature I want myself -- no
more passive aggression for me; I am standing up for the ambient
temperature I want! <mostly a joke!>

Seriously, the thought of uprooting and being dropped in a new place
with piles of boxes spread all around, gives me the shudders.
It snowed here last night. A wet heavy snow that is already melting.
About an inch at best. It doesn't look like a day to work outside.
I'd thought I'd try smoothing out the worst of the pot holes in our
road, but even the thought of that wears me out. So the snow gives me
a good excuse.
I'm tucking in a fluffy pile of snugly warm thoughts to wrap yourself
in, and wishing you an easy transition.

not yet been installed and since everyone else feels warmer than I do

of the time, I'll never know what the temperature actually is. It may be
that I will feel normal someday.
