I'll add to this now that I've actually started reading the book. There's a
lot of history about the US relationship with Cuba, particularly starting in
the Eisenhower administration. It is based on historical documentation,
declassified government documents, and apparently, increddible amounts of
research. So already, a few of my misconceptions have been corrected. This
is why it's so important to read well researched books rather than depending
on vague impressions.

I just wanted to let folks know that if you decide to get this book from
Bookshare, the daisy audio format won't play on the first generation stream
because it is a very long book and even with the latest update for the
stream 1, books that long revert to text to speech sgtream voices. However,
the book will play on the NLS player and, I assume, on the I phone dream
reader. I don't know about the second generation stream, but I do know that
its TTS voice is better than Samantha.
