As one of the articles I posted yesterday said, the attack on the twin
towers occurred because of the policies that this country has had in the Mid
East for many years. Bin Laden told us the reason why when he said that it
was US support of Saudi Arabia and Israel. Another article talked about how
the western countries had been reeking havoc in the Mid East since the end
of World War 1. But most Americans are unaware of how dangerous and devious
US policy has been and they don't believe the facts if you try to tell them.
I remember when my friend who lives in Jamaica and operates an international
adoption agency told me about her experience when she attempted to tell some
of her American friends that the attack had resulted from American policy.
This was just after it had occurred and people were furious with her. She'd
lived and worked in the US for years, and had many friends and colleagues
here. But she could also see the situation from a more objective
vantagepoint than most Americans. People were so furious and enraged that
she never said another word about the attacks and their causes.

Where was I when the attack on the Twin Towers happened? I was doing my
OJT at Palasippi, no idea how to spell it, couldn't find it" State Community
college which was just outside of Oak Ridge Tennessee. That was a bit
scary.
For the rest of this message, please don't come down on me with all four
feet.
yes the attack was a terrible thing to happen. Yes almost 3,000 innocent
people were killed. After the attack, the world supported us in this tragic
event. We refused to take advantage of this support, choosing to take our
own course.
We, as a country, refuse to mourn the possible millions of innocent people
we have killed.
This is rambling because my mind is going slightly crazy. I nee a cat to
sooth me.
