She's on SSI, and I'm certain that she's also on Medicaid, so her physical
therapy was most likely paid for by Medicaid. She doesn't want to accept that
if she needs PT again, it will most likely not be available if the Right-wingers
get their way. She has a caregiver at least weekly, and she can't seem to get
it through her head that she won't get that service, either. Plus they'll
probably go after transit services as well, which will leave her pretty much up
Shit Creek. After all, they intend to shut down Meals on Wheels and a number of
other social services if they get their way.
Somehow in responding to my original post, she included the Demo list, too, in
the carbon copy field, so her response got here in spite of her having no
membership.
