Charter schools. The on-going effort to turn Public Education into
another "For Profit" boondoggle. How many more times will Americans
allow ourselves to be conned into handing over our public programs to
be run "more efficiently" by For Profit Corporations, only to learn
that we've been robbed? Bit by bit we are becoming the United
Corporate Empire. We former citizens, now looked upon as Consumers,
will soon owe all we have, to the waiting Privateers.
But I've said all of that before.

Good post here. Charters still have lots of public support here in Mass and
the teachers unions seem to have few friends. I'm afraid I believe this
ballot question will pass in November and boy do I hope I'm wrong.
