Richard, If we think we have the answers to the problems, could they be posted? Obviously it's not a contest of who gets to solve the puzzles first, but to learn and get enjoyment from them.. So, when should a problem be discussed or solved for all to see? I suppose if the answer is in an email, something can be put in the title to let people know that if they open that emai, it may have the answer in it. For the next week or so I will send out a problem and wait for some discussion like Alvin's message this morning. Then I will send the answer while the problem is still fresh in the mind of those working it. Then I will send another problem. Constantly setting up and taking down problems on a board takes too much time otherwise. And I think this new set of problems will be more difficult to work leading to more questions and discussion. Supposedly, being able to solve all 300 of the tactical problems in the "Win At Chess" book will make you an 1800 chess player. And tactics are the key to chess improvement for almost all players!
