Hi Carol,

I would assume that you are correct.
Basically, once someone challenges you, you have three days to start the game. Failure to start the game in the three days will result in a forfeit for the challenged player. So if you do not want to play, then of coarse the game would not start in the required three days.
And you would forfeit the game and lose your position on the ladder.

Hope this helps.

Chris

Subject: [blind-chess] Question

Hi Richard,

If one is challenged and they don't accep the challenge, will they forfeit
the game? And will they lose their position on the ladder?

Carol
do not accept their challenge, will the person forfeit the game to the
challenger
