Hi, Meka. There is a structured event every Tuesday night, and there are book clubs meeting throughout the week. Beyond that, I find evenings to be the best time to catch people in the Bookshare room for general chat. You can find the community room by visiting http://www.friendsofbookshare.org and choosing the link to enter the room from there. If you're having trouble with your volume level, you're more than welcome to come a little early on Tuesday or Thursday nights because there will be people there who know how to help you adjust your software. Fred Bertelsen is a wiz with the software and is a gentleman too. He's patient and explains things well. (smile) Tomorrow night, Shane will be doing a training for people who have a Victor Stream who want to read Bookshare titles on it. Even if you don't have a Victor, Shane is a good speaker, and you'll meet other Bookshare members who usually stay and chat for awhile after the presentation.
