It does make sense. That which does not make sense is that Bookshare  
mentions only that if there are errors in a book in the collection then it has  
been 
decided that a re scan must be done without mentioning that an easier fix  may 
be available. With this revelation the stated Bookshare policy sounds

There is the necessary step of having a  staff member put the book in 
question onto step 1 in rtf  format.

What does not work because page breaks and numbers are lost is  to 
download a brf or html copy and try to fix that copy up.
