Given the number of books I have personally had kicked back I wonder if the
percentage is really that small. True, most of the books I have dealt with
had copyright issues which could be pretty quickly resolved. But a certain
number of books really seem to have this issue of copyright validating a
time or two before finally escaping the step 1 list. I truly think we
might be able to work out some kind of co-operating scenario with bookshare
staff where a volunteer or two can liaison with them and resolve such
situations more readily.
