[bksvol-discuss] Re: validation question

Did you put the word chapter on the line before the chapter's number? It should work if there is one return between the word chapter and the number. You don't want a blank line between them, because that will probably cause part of it to be removed. If they are on the same line it will definitely be removed by the stripper.

Dear Cindy,

Either you are also an insomniac or you live on the west coast. I am truly going to sleep, now. I've been inserting the word, chapter, before each spelled out numeral. There were thirty of them. I was so happy to get such quick answers to my questions, that you inspired me to stay with it and finish everything you suggested.

I'm not going to try my first upload when I'm this tired, but I really think the book will be ready to send in the morning. You get some rest, too and thanks for everything.

Always With Love,

Lissi

Dear Lissi.

I hope you had a good night's sleep.

In the second part I just meant that I do what you do
with most of the pages--skip one line from the page
break and start the text. (smile)

Dear Cindy,

I understood the first part of your reply. Here I
thought I was ready to
upload at last, but I'm going back to put the word
chapter followed by a
blank line above the chapters which are numbers
spelled out like
TWENTY-EIGHT. I'd rather try and prepare the book
correctly now than to
discover it's sustained damage in translation
because I didn't attempt all
of the safeguards all of you have developed.

The last part of the message actually did confuse
me, but since I don't
think you were giving me directions there, I won't
worry about it. Smile -
and many thanks!

Always With Love,

A Sleepy Lissi
