Hi, Jill! Sorry for the confusion... I guess it's been a while since I've read those instructions! <Smile> As Mary said, I wouldn't worry about that particular one, though. Change the rating if necessary. Of course, depending on how much actual proofreading you choose to do as part of the validation process, you just might be able to make it an excellent rating after all! <Smile> Happy validating! Now I am confused. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jana Jackson To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, June 14, 2004 2:19 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: validating question Hi, Jill! If you validate a book that was judged to be good, and if you find it to actually be of excellent quality, you are certainly welcome to change the rating during the uploading process. The opposite is also true. If you find a book to be rated excellent and it is actually of good quality, you can either correct the errors or change the rating to Good. Hope this helps! This book was reported as good, but actually I found hardly any errors. Who determines the rating and how? Since it wasn't my type of book, I didn't read it entirely through but did a lot of sampling. I am reading a book right now rated excellent and it is far from it; this is a book that has already been validated. Thank you. Jill
