Very good point. Spell checking is only a preliminary first step coming before the more important next step of reading the whole book through. So please pick a book which you like enough to read and spend a bit of time with.

another idea and suggestion is to make sure that a word is mispelled and not a slang or dialec and mispelled intentionally as part of the context of the book.

sometimes someone in the book may talk with a southern accent, not speak the language of the book so it might be mispelled or
a child may be speaking and the words may be intentionally mispelled.

Its very important to read the entire book and read mispelled words in context.

To our new volunteers,
First welcome welcome. Now for you validators here are a few ideas:
Whatever you use to validate, please use a spell checker when you start. You can then check for missing pages, remove the title and author at the tops of pages and read through the book. A spell checker finds some things. Reading a book cover to cover is what really works when validating though. So please pick a book you find interesting so you are willing to read it.

Again welcome.
