I don't know how important formatting is either.
Given the wide variety of platforms BookShare books are read under, some
totally speech oriented, it is questionable if formatting ends up
surviving anyway.
Hence, I, as a validator, don't tend to look at this issue. Personally, I
am concerned about the general text quality, whether page breaks exist,
whether the book is whole,
and how difficult is it to find chapters and the like.
As for this book, Jill, at least if it is rejected, you should feel
comfortable resubmitting it and knowing, if it ends up properly labeled,
it will end up in the collection.
In addition to the BSO designator, I would also include a comment in the
comments field noting that the book is intended as a replacement.
