Hi Mayrie. Thanks for the tip. I downloaded it again and still the same. I also did report the problem.

I did that, and the response was less than helpful. But, I had a work around--read the book with internet explorer--so I figured it was a problem either with my computer or Kurzweil until I read the original message on this list. Now that I know others are having similar problems, I'll pursue it further. Thanks for the tip. There's a new thing on the bookshare site that might help with reporting these kinds of issues. On the "Book Information" page for eachbook is a link that you can use to report quality issues with a book. All of the things that Monica mentioned are fields that you can fill out on thatpage. That might be simpler than writing e-mail for some. Just another option. Why? Because they have a tracking system for bugsthat the engineering team uses to fix things. If you post to the list, yourissues won't be tracked. That's why they wrote to the list awhile back to ask that people write to Bookshare directly about bugs in the publisherquality process. So you will help Bookshare most by letting them know when you are having trouble. Also, please be specific about the device or programyou're using to read the book. Sighted Bookshare staff may not think to check out the title using assistive devices. For example, Carrie and Pavi don't use or have Kurzweil, a Braille device, or Openbook. So it doesn'treally tell us much if they can open a file on their computer since they'renot using assistive technology. John and Rob have access to these devicesthough, and they are the ones running the support address. See why it's so important to talk to them? As far as I know, they are not on this list. Soif they get any info at all, it's second or third-hand. That's often bad news for bug tracking.
