Hi, Debby, what I understand is the submitter and proofreader can work
together as a team. I want to do just enough and not too much, i.e., I don't
want to mess up the submitter's work if I can help it. I was getting a bit
frustrated before I thought to leave the file on the computer and both
listen to and read the file in Braille. When I've mastered the word
processing stuff in my BrailleNote manual (yawn), and know how to get the
BrailleNOte to recognize the file, I'll continue in this way I've chosen.
Right now, I'm reading every word of the text (I want to know what happens
next). So I don't think I'll be one of those slam-bang jiffy proofreaders
that I understand are the despair of conscientious submitters. I figure for
now to proofread the sort of stuff I read anyway. Last night I was
definitely beginning to have fun because I was progressing from helpless
frustration to a mere glimmer of confidence. I'm not at the stage of being
"an old hand". I'll cheer you on and expect you'll do the same for me.
Regards, Kim.

Hi Kim!

I hope you enjoy proofreading as much as I am. Just go through carefully,
and I know you'll do fine.
