Hi Guido,
No, I didn't put my synopsis in the comments field because I had no idea
this bug existed. Actually I'm rather frustrated that it wasn't announced
here; if I'd known about it I would have done as you suggest and not wasted
my time. I've always felt that having a useful and coherent synopsis was
important, so if I validated a book without one I would fix it or add to it.
So, I wonder how much of the synopsis frustration is due to our being
thwarted by this bug.
