I'm not sure we have anything like this in braille, Cindy! Perhaps someone
who is a braille proofreader could answer this better than I can. Can anyone

Here is the translator's note that explains "To facilitate reference the
poems and fragments are arranged in the order of the standard edition of
Lobel & Page.
Each is preceded by an ornament and followed by its number in this edition
in square brackets

The ornnament  precedes the fragment and then is the bracketed pages.  I use
an asterisk, as was told to me is proper, between stanzas.
