Dear Bud,

I'm glad to see you are still at work. Until someone with definite knowledge replies to your question about formatting page numbers, I'll tell you how I handle them and if I have it wrong, we'll learn the right way at the same time.

When I'm validating, I leave a blank line before and after the page number whether it's at the top or the bottom of the page. In other words, yes, I make sure there's a blank line between the page number and the text and a blank line between the page number and the page break.

Always with love,

Lissi

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] submitted Beautiful Lies

Hi Gang,

I just submitted "Beautiful Lies" by Lisa Unger. There is another book by the same title on the list already but it's not the same book at all, the auther and date and subject aren't anything alike. I hope somebody notices this and doesn't reject it as a duplicate. Thanks to all of you people who helped me learn about find and replace so I could get rid of all the double spaced headers.

One other question, is there supposed to be a blank line between the page number and the beginning of the text or can it just be the next line above?

Thanks.
