Hey Kellie, I would definately have to agree. My point was that the BookShare site *still* encourages the submission of ARK and KES files as the preferred file format if possible. I know there are definately limited time constraints/people involved in the BookShare iniative and I thank each and every one of them, but I'd like to see this issue addressed so that future volunteers are lead astray. Thos files with images included are very huge, and not many people can validate them because they are in proprietary formats, and because they're so large. So now the general consensus is that rtf is best because it's inclusive and smaller than the big images. There's still nothing wrong with submitting arcs and kes files, but it may take 16 forevers for them to get validated.
