Having tried to scan study bibles before, it's hopeless! You might try PC Study Bible. Logos Software is excellent, but very difficult with JFW. I do have a Bible Courrier, but it's not a Study Bible. Logos does have many many Study Bibles, and I've had limited success using some of them. -----Original Message----- From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Monica Willyard Sent: Friday, January 19, 2007 3:56 PM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: study Bibles Hi, Anastasia. Your friend might do better to buy some Bible software because scanning a study Bible results in validation hell. The columns found in a print study Bible would come out as a hodgepodge. No validater could be sure the verses in each column match up. Bible software is affordable, costing anywhere from $20 to $125. Jaws supports several types, and there are also some user-written scripts for more versions. Jaws supports QuickVerse and Theophilos for sure. These programs are accurate and have the kind of features someone would need for serious study. I'd tell your friend to start there and then ask around on the various lists for blind computer users.
