Either shift will work fine.

Hi Sarah,

I use a Braille display and am wondering if you have to hold down the left
shift, or can it be the right shift?? If I used right shift I coulld read
the displayi while selecting.

Unfortunately Word doesn't have a command to select a page. I tried
Shift-Control-PageDown just to make sure and it didn't select anything.
You will have to select the page or pages you want to move line by line.
Just place your cursor right after the page break on the page you want to
move. Hold down shift and press Down Arrow listening to what is selected
on each press of the down arrow. When you hear PageBreak again you will
know that the whole first page of text has been selected. If you want
more
pages continue to hold down shift and pressing DownArrow. The lat thing
you should slect is a PageBreak. Now that you have all the text you want
selected press Control-X. It won't matter how much you move around in the
document after you have cut the text you want to move to the clipboard, so
now you can just move to the top of the page where you want to insert
those
pages. Hitting Control-PageDown works pretty well to find the top of the
desired page. Before pasting the cut pages make sure your cursor is just
after the PageBreak and then hit Control-V.

Now if your screen reader continued to cooperate for the whole procedure
things are just great. I am just very impatient with selecting huge
amounts of text in that tedious way, and you can't stop selecting to look
around and make sure you are doing what you intended because then the
selecting is lost.

Dear Volunteers,

Near the end of my current validation project, I have been stopped cold by
my lack of understanding of how to work with Microsoft Word in the rich
text format I downloaded from Bookshare.

4 pages are out of order as in 246, 247, 244, 245. I tried to highlight
246
and 247 and place them after 245, but I'm not succeeding and am not
understand the help files I've tried to use as instruction. I thought I
should highlight the 2 pages to be moved, but then arrowing erases the
highlighting. Then I thought find and replace could help, but I don't know
how it would since I want to move something.....

As usual, I don't even know how to phrase my question, but I'd appreciate
any suggestions . I really regret not being perceptive enough to help
myself more.

Julie, if you are reading this, your new quote is great.

Always With love,

Lissi
