Dear Carrie,

I was just telling a friend off list that if you were in the states, Breaking
Dawn would have been in the collection on Monday.

I was asking if she thought I'd like the series. and I asked her if she'd heard
of Dark Shadows which she hasn't. There were plenty of vampires and werewolves
and other supernatural beings and goings on in Dark Shadows and I think over a
thousand episodes, but I imagine the action was slower 40 years ago than now.

Does anyone know about both who could give us a comparison?

Always with love,

Lissi

I will check on the status of Breaking Dawn and get back to you. Since I'm
in Guam right now, I couldn't process it myself, but I did say before I left,
that it was the highest priority book that we are working on right now.
We'll be getting the controversial book by Ron Suskind, The Way of the World,
and putting it into the collection ASAP also.

  Carrie

In previous posts, and from a message from Carey in thatt tread, I noticed
that Bookshare had planned to scan Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. I don't
see it on the new books page or the in processing page. Can anyone give me the
status on it? Also, the second and third books had many extra line breaks and
therefore extra paragraph breaks. This makes braille rading mroe choppy and
also makes reading in K1000 more choppy as well. Not sure how this happened in
the last two books, but wanted to make those who scan and/or validate aware so
that it might not happen this time for the new book. All the best.

  Noel
