Does anyone know why in many books we are seeing two sets of numbers? I just downloaded A Thousand Splendid Suns and there is double page numbering with different numbers of course. Since this is far from the first book where I have seen this, I would like to know what causes it and how it can be eliminated. This particular book was scanned in office as a New York Times bestseller.
