I don't know what you're reading, but the book I rejected yesterday had so
many errors that Microsoft Word wouldn't do the spell check unless I spell
checked it a few pages at a time. There were pages with several garbled text
pieces which would not be able to be turned into words. That is my
experience with other fair books as well. And I will continue to reject them
when I get them.

You all persist in acting as if the quality ratings on Step1 really mean
something. They don't! It's just what the submitter imagines the quality
rating is, and the default is "fair". Many times I've picked a fair-rated
book, and found it was actually good or excellent. The step1 ratings don't
matter!
