I've noticed that the "renew" option doesn't appear until shortly before the
book is set to expire. It would be nice if that option appeared earlier so
that you could choose to renew it earlier if you were going to be away.

I recedived an email notice that my book was about to expire, but when I
checked my checked-out-books none had renew as an option. It did have the
option to download, so I did that--just letting you know in case any of you
have the dame thing occur. guess I should send a copy of this to volunteer
so maybe they'll fix it and none of you will have the same thing.
