Kellie,

Do you mean that British books use apostrophes, instead of double
quotes? What do they do for single quotes?

This subject brings up something I've been wondering. I've edited books
in Word, where open quotes had scanned in as close quote. Since I'm editing
with K1000 now, is there a way to tell if this problem occurs? Will I still
need to open the file in Word, to make sure the quotes are OK?
