Hi, Scott! Just to echo what Jake said, by all means, disable the Keep
Exact View setting. Most of us don't use that setting anyway, I don't
think. <Smile> Take care!

  Subject: [bksvol-discuss] scanning/submission recommendation

  Hi all,

I have been having some difficulties scanning a book. The biggest problem
is that the periods weren't showing up in about 50% of the sentences. I am
using Openbook, which scans at 300 dots per inch by default. I am able to
get the periods to show up if I increase the DPI to 400. However, in
Openbook, you can't use the "keep exact view" option at 400 DPI. For those
of you who've used Openbook to scan books for submission, is it likely that
the book will still be accepted if "keep exact view" is disabled? If
Bookshare is still likely to take the copy, I'd love to scan the book.

  Thanks for your advice,
  Scott Blanks
