[bksvol-discuss] scanning tools and output formats

E's comments about Kurzweil made me start to wonder about
something.
I noticed on the list of books to validate that there are lots of them
with formats of KES and ARC. Do the scanning tools have the ability to
convert/save the output into an RTF file? I'd like to suggest that if
they do that perhaps books should be submitted in that format so all of us
can have the opportunity to validate any book. There are a number of
books waiting that I'd REALLY like to validate but can't because I can't
handle those formats.
